- Leading the Drizzle ORM major-version upgrade (0.45.2 / drizzle-kit 0.31.10) across the org's shared database repo after roughly two years of version lag, rolling it out through per-service pilots to de-risk the change — two backend services piloting in parallel.
- Owned the end-to-end deployment of an internal data-platform tool to production EKS — wrote the Dockerfile and Helm chart, provisioned the production infrastructure (internal ALB, security groups, deploy role, namespace, IRSA service account, Datadog wiring), and exposed it at an SSO-gated URL through Cloudflare Tunnel.
- Wrote an RFC and led a cross-service Deployment Quality Guardrails initiative — a 32-ticket effort to add pre-, during-, and post-deploy safeguards after two production outages from masked deploy failures and missing DB migrations, and shipped a post-deploy stability check into the shared CI action so every EKS service inherits it.
- Set up self-hosted Bytebase for database ChatOps — metadata Postgres on RDS, an EKS namespace wired with Vault and the External Secrets Operator, and a Helm and HTTPRoute deployment through the shared Istio gateway with internal DNS. Built a companion GitOps scaffold repo from scratch, with a destructive-DDL safety gate, a drizzleNNNN_ migration naming convention, happy-path and blocked-path drill tests, and SQL-review gate wiring.
- Migrated a banking service from legacy RDS to a new Aurora cluster with full data restoration, then built a Postgres schema-drift checker (information_schema and pg_catalog introspection diffed against the latest Drizzle snapshot) and used it to inventory drift across all four RDS environments — 535 remediation entries with executable SQL and per-environment runbooks.
- Led a Datadog cost-optimisation audit across the org's observability pipeline (log ingest, APM, serverless), building it from usage and cost metrics despite limited API access, and surfaced over-ingest regressions — a Postgres log flood at about 20x normal, an APM sampling misconfiguration, and serverless traces around 14x above baseline — and I'm driving the remediation.

Fine-tuned a YOLOv11 model to detect elephants using a custom dataset including thermal and night vision imagery.
Automated Software EOL Analysis Tool
Developed an intelligent EOL (End-of-Life) analysis tool that processes SBOM files. With a multi-checker architecture and dedicated modules for GitHub (GraphQL API), package managers (PyPI / npm / Maven APIs), and an AI-driven browser agent (browser-use) to scrape unstructured vendor sites. Built feature tests, an interactive workflow for manual data correction, and an editable report generator supporting JSON, CSV, and Excel exports.
